Hi, I am Anna Spafford. Writer. Military Spouse. Military Families Advocate.
I am a military spouse and mother of five children. Personality type Enneagram 6 with a 5 wing, if you are into that kind of thing. I have just completed my Bachelor's in English with an Emphasis in Professional Writing from Grand Canyon University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. I volunteer with a non-profit organization that advocates for Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) military families called Exceptional Families of the Military (EFM). I am particularly fond of writing short stories, blogs, and journalism pieces. I have some experience in communications, customer service, and writing for an audience. I am looking for entry level work to gain more experience and hone my skills in my passion for writing.
My process is to write based on research or personal experience depending on the type of writing I am doing. I believe in approaching my writing by brainstorming, and laying out what I want to say and then finding the best way to say it. Sticking to the essentials.
I believe in being honest, transparent, and genuine. I have a personal belief in integrity and I apply this to my work. I also believe in promoting the common good of all.
